Blast Freezing

Whether your produce is seasonal, you are building strategic stocks, or running large batches to make production more efficient, you need an effective way to store your product until it is required.  Freezing is the best way to store it for a long period, but you need assurance that the product is returned to perfect condition for distribution.

At ACS&T, we have extensive knowledge and experience of safely freezing and tempering a wide variety of products.  From harvested crops, to Christmas products and Easter eggs to semi-finished goods, we know how to freeze and reinstate your product to its original perfect condition.  And it’s all done to BRC standards in accredited facilities.

Our blast freezers and rapid air freezers provide a high capacity to quickly freeze your products down to -18°C.  They are held in temperature controlled deep storage until needed.  Our tempering specialists then bring your products back up to chilled or ambient temperatures, with constant monitoring to maintain food quality.
